...stores are already holding Christmas sales and liberal atheists are trying to pervert the true meaning of Christmas. One such group is the American Humanist Association (AHA), which launched a campaign in DC for the Christmas season with the message:
Why believe in a god? Just be good for goodness' sake.
The AHA is a lobbyist group to promote humanism (AKA atheism). They are a bunch of liberal yahoos who are trying to attack Christianity. These are the same people who are trying to tell those of us who believe in God (including myself) that it's wrong to have Santa in the mall, have cards that say Merry Christmas, tell store managers that they can't have Christmas sales, put mangers in public places, etc. They are pushing weak-minded politicians and other leaders to keep Santa from saying Merry Christmas, tell Hallmark to write cards that say Happy Holidays, tell Macy's to have holiday sales, and to take down the manger from your county courthouse. These libs have a clear agenda: to persecute Christians, take away your right to celebrate your religion as you see fit, and destroy the very moral fiber our country was founded upon. If these leftists had their way, churches wouldn't be able to put crosses on their front lawns, kids wouldn't be allowed to see Santa at the mall, the pledge would be rewritten, and the Constitution would become nothing more than a piece of paper, more worthless than our dollar.
If these people didn't have an agenda to destroy Christianity, then why didn't they launch their campaign during Ramadan (or any other time of the year for that matter)? I am sick of the 8% of the population who doesn't believe in God to try to ruin it for the rest of us who do. Let them try to stop me from saying Merry Christmas. They can take their "happy holidays" and shove it up their asses.

Whatever their agenda, don't they have the right to free speech?
There is a difference between the right to say what you want and abusing that right to push a hateful agenda.
Again, the AHA's agenda is clearly to attack established religion (more specifically, Christianity) in the United States. Why else would they have put out an ad around Christmas time with a big headliner that reads "Why believe in God?"
If the AHA had no such agenda, then they could clearly get their message out that there to like minded liberals any time of the year. Why did they pick Christmas time? Why did they have to put out a controversial message? Why couldn't they go with a softer, yet effective, ad?
When I advertise my company, I don't waste my firm's money to spread vicious attacks on my competitors. I use the ads to produce an effective message to get people to contact me or inquire more about my services. Sometimes, I'll use humor or attractive slogans, but never anything controversial or hateful. Unfortunately, the typical lib with an agenda has no understanding that you attract more flies with honey.
Take, for example, the incident at the MN church Sunday, where gay activists interrupted a church service to spread their propaganda. THEY STOOD UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SERVICE AND RAN UP AND DOWN THE AISLES SCREAMING GAY PRIDE SLOGANS AND THROWING FLYERS AROUND WHILE PEOPLE ARE ATTENDING A GODLY SERVICE.
So back to your question: do they have the right to do so despite their agenda? My answer is the same: there is a difference between the right to free speech and abusing that right. This right is no longer absolute anyway. It is subject to limitations such as on "hate speech" because exercising freedom of speech always takes place within a context of competing values.
Anonymous, I find it ironic that liberals like yourself hide behind "freedom of speech" and pull the "hate speech" card whenever it's convenient for you. Yet, when conservatives are attacked, these thing suddenly don't matter.

I don't care who gets attacked. The fact is we have the right to political free speech in this country. I never said hate speech or anything else. I don't believe in "hate crimes" or anything like that. It is their money if they chose to push an agenda so be it. I am not a liberal I am extremely conservative, but I don't cower in fear or cry when I am attacked. I am strong in my conviction and while I may not like what they say I will fight for their right to say it. What is amazing is folks like you, who help destroy the republican party, cry when you are attacked. Let them bring it on.
